The Brisbane Plumbers provides general and emergency plumbing services within the Brisbane area. We complete most, but not all, of the emergency plumbing and we outsource both the overflow emergency work we receive as well as the completion of the general (during business hours) plumbing work we receive.
When we talk about ‘us’, we mean The Brisbane Plumbers Pty Ltd ACN 618 035 886, the business that operates the website www. thebrisbaneplumbers.com.au. When we talk about ‘you’, we mean the person using this website or services of this website or participating in any marketing or surveys produced by or for this website.
When we talk about ‘contractor’ we mean the business or contractor that we have forwarded a customer’s personal information onto to enable that business or contractor to complete the requested services for the customer.

You can browse this website anonymously. If you identify yourself to us, at that point we will collect your personal information. If you are contractors who would like to work with us, you cannot remain anonymous.
Collecting personal information

By calling the number on the website or completing your details on the form on our website, you consent to storing your information, using your information to complete the services you have requested or passing your information onto a contractor that can assist you.

For contractors, we collect the minimum amount of information we need to be able to provide you with leads. This information can include:

We will not seek sensitive personal data from you, such as health details or information revealing your religious beliefs or ethnic origin, and if you are a customer, we do not collect your financial information. We do not intend to collect the personal data of persons under the age of 18. If you provide us with a testimonial, you give us your consent for the use of your name and the and the date to be displayed on our website or in our other marketing material, together with the content of the testimonial that you provide.
Posts to social media
If you provide consent for us to use images of your job or the work we have completed for you, you consent to us posting these images to social media accounts linked to our business. You agree we may post before and/or after images, video footage of the job, details of the work completed, if the property is a rental or a homeowner and (only applicable for commercial premises) the name of the premises or business.
Social Networking Services and links to other websites
We may provide links to other websites or use social networking services such as Facebook and Instagram to communicate with the public about our work. These sites have their own privacy policies. When you communicate with us using these services we may collect your personal information. We will only use it to help us to communicate with you and the public. The social networking service will also handle your personal information for its own purposes.
