Fees and payments
When you book services through our website or over the phone, we will advise you of the callout fee at the time of booking. If we are completing the services, we will also advise an estimated time and date for completion. If we are not directly completing the services, we will let you know, and we will forward your job details to a contractor who will contact you to provide an estimate for the time and date for completion.
When we (or the contractor) arrive, you may request a quote for the services prior to the work commencing. The quote will include the anticipated work and parts however sometimes other items or difficulties may be discovered during the services and this may change the quote. We will do our best to keep you updated.
Both the call out fee and the charges for the services (labour and parts) are payable on completion of the work and must be paid before we (or the contractor) leave the job.
Cancellations
While we understand that sometimes plans change, we do allocate valuable resources to be available to complete your services. If you cancel a booked appointment by providing more than 24 hours’ notice, there is no charge for the cancellation. If you cancel a booked appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will charge you the full call out fee.
If we charge you for cancelled appointments, we (or the contractor that was scheduled to attend) will issue you an invoice by mail which will be payable within 7 days.
If a contractor (or ourselves) becomes unable to attend a booked appointment, we will notify you and try to arrange an alternative contractor to keep the booked appointment time. We cannot guarantee that an alternative contractor will be available. If a contractor is late or fails to attend a scheduled appointment, again, we will try to find an alternative contractor to complete the services for you. We will not be liable for loss or damage arising from a failure or delay in providing the services due to non-availability or lateness of a contractor or ourselves.
