Had a Saturday morning emergency callout due to a sewage overflow in our rental town house. Our property manager was unable to contact our regular plumber, so after reading a few reviews decided to give the Briabane Plumbers a call. Joseph answered immediately, gave a quick run down on likely causes and sketched out cost structures and general actions required to which I agreed.Joseph's arrival was incredibly timely and he had diagnosed and resolved the issue within an hour. Grout or concrete had been blocking my pipe for years, and The Brisbane Plumbers were the first to find and fix the root cause. Very happy with the service provided. I’ve had consistent issues over the last few years with the toilet partially blocking and causing it to drain slowly after flushing. Other plumbers have ‘fixed’ the issue... but the fixes only ever seemed to last a few months.Joseph came within 24 hours, had all the equipment needed to investigate and remove the blockage. And went that one step further that others hadn’t to find the true cause of the problem.I’m confident that I won’t be needing him again for this same problem, but he’s at the top of my list for any plumbing work I need done in the future.

The Brisbane Plumbers service was a life saver when a flexi hose burst in our kitchen on a weekend with water pouring everywhere. Rang these guys fairly late in the afternoon when my tap decided to blow. After ringing around to other 24/7 plumbing businesses and only reaching voicemail I was able to get a timeframe and rough cost in under 10 minutes. Despite the busy evening Joseph arrived quickly and efficiently repaired the problem, detailing each step and letting me know exactly what was wrong while answering my questions. Gave a more than fair price for the repair and emailed me the receipt and supporting documentation to relay to the landlord and real estate what the issue had been. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

I recently had an urgent “after hours” need for a plumber as my hot water tap in the shower had sorta exploded and I couldn’t turn off the tap.I called The Brisbane Plumbers at around 23:30pm for help and was put through to Joe at that unsocial time!! Over the phone, Joe talked me (and my house tenant) through the task of isolating my hot water, to my unit specifically.Joe thoughtfully offered new this “over the phone“ temporary solution in order to save me the “after hours” call out/service fees. In fact.... on this occasion Joe charged me nothing, not a cent for his advice and time. Even though it took at least 20-30 minutes of back and forth as my tenant and I were totally unfamiliar with the task of shutting off the hot water to specifically my apartment only.The following day I was able to have the bathroom/shower tap repaired during normal tradesman hours, saving myself a bucket load of $$ in the process.So naturally I was mighty impressed with Joe’s prompt, (free!!) over the phone service and wouldn’t hesitate recommending him, or employing him for my future household plumbing jobs.Thanks for reading,Sam

Joe came immediately to assist with a significant sewerage disaster. He was exceptionally thorough. He used the latest technology to discover what was blocking our drain and remove it. He checked all other possibilities and made sure everything was perfect. He also took on the challenge of fishing out a pair of multi grips lodged several metres down a drain line with good humour and perseverance. Joe also provided a comprehensive report with photos for our insurance. He made a really horrible day much better. Highly recommended.

Joe came out to assist us with a block pipe on the weekend. He was prompt, efficient and effectively resolved this issue. We had initially thought he would need to come back again the next week to resolve. However, Joe went out of his way to confirm that ultimately the residual issue was a matter for QUU - which saved us the cost of another call out from Joe and also gave a path forward to fixing the problem. There's nothing quite as urgent as a waste pipe blockage where sewage is backing up and overflowing in the middle of the night. Joseph was there about 20 minutes after we called him near midnight, and very efficiently fixed the problem and cleaned up after himself. Great service.

Had a copper pipe spring a leak, which I only discovered late on a Friday afternoon. The leak was in the most awkward spot, where concrete had to be knocked out. Joseph did a fantastic job and stayed until late into the evening until the leak had been repaired with new piping. He even suggested ringing insurance to see about a claim due to the water damage, photos we're taken and a video to show the damage. The Brisbane plumbers are fantastic!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone .

It’s 7pm on a Saturday and a pipe in our upstairs bathroom bursts and starts flooding hot water into the kitchen downstairs. Joseph answered our call and with confidence explained how to turn off the hot water tank. Then calmly talks us through turning off the meter. In an emergency Joseph was calm and informative. Fantastic work. Joseph found our pipes were blocked because a prior owner had poured cement down the toilet. With great patience, tenacity, ingenuity and perserverence, using bent pipes and various tool, like a surgeon he carefully slid the 2kg a few meters through the pipes and eventually up. Kids flooded the upstairs bathroom at 9pm on a Saturday night. I had water dripping through the ceiling and of course hubby was away on business. I was freaking out but I called Joseph and he was very reassuring and said he'd come straight over. He was very up front about the costs and told me an approximate price, even texting me on the way to update me on how far away he was. When he arrived he talked me through everything and explained the whole procedure so I knew exactly what was happening. Luckily, a simple blockage and the final price was less than the original quote. Very rare to find an honest reliable tradesman these days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joseph!

We needed some urgent assistance with a blocked sewege pipe and I called these guys and someone was on the doorstep within a hour. Joseph was extremely helpful and great at explaining everything he was going to do and doing in order to clear the blockage, after a lot of work (very long pipe) it was established that the blockage was tree roots growing through the pipe right down at the bottom of our property. Joseph did a great job of clearing the backlog as best he could to give us a few days relief. Joseph has just been back to dig down to the pipe, remove the offending obstruction (1.3 metres long) replace the pipe and add an access point. I can’t rate the service highly enough for the Brisbane Plumbers but more importantly Joseph himself, such a professional job and really went above and beyond to sort of problem out, leaving our property in a neater state than they found it even. Thanks for all your great work, very much appreciated.

Joseph gave sound initial advice over the phone, and promised to come from the other side of Brisbane straight away. We called Joseph for an emergency late on a Friday night. He answered the phone immediately, was at our house within 20 minutes and was so informative, helpful and efficient when he arrived. Amazingly he charged us less than the quoted price we had agreed over the phone when he realised the job was smaller than anticipated - a very honest, upstanding approach! One of the best tradesmen I've ever dealt with.

We live in a 9 apartment building in Petrie Terrace. On Melbourne Cup day, just before the big race, a major leak was discovered coming from one of the hot water tanks. Although it wasn't technically after hours, nobody was answering their phones - not the real estate agent who looks managed the affected apartment, nor the plumber we have used in the past. I phoned The Brisbane Plumbers and got straight through to Joseph. He was just finishing a job and got to our place a about 6.00 pm. Our experience was one of courtesy, reliability, efficiency and professionalism. We will be using them next time a plumber is needed and can thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Called Sunday morning for an emergency. Answered promptly and without a “*humph*, what do you want?” Pleasant, prompt, kept promise, no call out fee so rest assured they will do what they can. And he did.

Called Sunday morning after my tenant called complaining of a bad smell under the house. The phone was answered straight away and he was out that morning. Had all updated equipment so he could locate the problem quickly. We've renovated a lot and this is one of the best tradesman I've dealt with.
