Very happy to recommend this service. Joseph is friendly and very professional. The job I called him on required drain clearing and this was handled in good time with a thorough approach. Joseph was on time! The first time! Joseph explained what he was doing as he went along, showed some really interesting images (!!) and gave me a clear idea of how the drain came to be blocked and what I can expect (and the options I will have) into the future. Clear, concise advice and quick, competent work. This is what hiring a tradie should be like but almost never is. Who you choose is up to you, but I am sure if you choose Joseph you will have a good experience.read more

We were looking for a qualified, licensed professional Gas Fitter and called The Brisbane Plumbers on a Saturday morning about a job regarding gas leakage. The call was speedily and professionally dealt with urgently. The issue was a gas pipe leaking, caused by a leak that was difficult to detect. The emergency gas leak repair work was completed in under 2 hours and we were appreciative that they arrived quickly and helped us resolve the issue for the gas hot water system. Had a copper pipe spring a leak, which I only discovered late on a Friday afternoon. The leak was in the most awkward spot, where concrete had to be knocked out. Joseph did a fantastic job and stayed until late into the evening until the leak had been repaired with new piping. He even suggested ringing insurance to see about a claim due to the water damage, photos we're taken and a video to show the damage. The Brisbane plumbers are fantastic!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone .read more

It’s 7pm on a Saturday and a pipe in our upstairs bathroom bursts and starts flooding hot water into the kitchen downstairs. Joseph answered our call and with confidence explained how to turn off the hot water tank. Then calmly talks us through turning off the meter. In an emergency Joseph was calm and informative. As we are in a rental he also talked us through working with our real estate. Very friendly and professional 5 star recommendation.read more

Joseph was prompt and polite, upfront about issues and costs. Most impressively though, he was very detail orientated with his assessments of the issue, thorough with fixing the issue and advice given going forward. He took lots of photos and videos of the problem and damage and gave a really detailed report explaining exactly the fault and it’s root cause to present to the insurance company without any ambiguity. I highly recommend Joseph, we had an emergency plumbing problem on Easter Sunday morning, he arrived quickly and sorted the problem out. He detailed the problem , provided photos and video footage, all extremely useful as evidence for the body corporate. His communication skills are excellent and he has even offered to explain to the body corporate the problem and how to rectify it so it doesn't happen again. Superb service !!read more

Fantastic work. Joseph found our pipes were blocked because a prior owner had poured cement down the toilet. With great patience, tenacity, ingenuity and perserverence, using bent pipes and various tool, like a surgeon he carefully slid the 2kg a few meters through the pipes and eventually up. We just came back from a week holiday to find out that we had a concealed leak on our property. Quite distressing as it was a severe leak that needed immediate attention. I called Joseph that Sunday morning and he was over within the hour. We found our main water line connection had blown apart, Joe repaired the connection, flushed the water line and we were back in business. Kids flooded the upstairs bathroom at 9pm on a Saturday night. I had water dripping through the ceiling and of course hubby was away on business. I was freaking out but I called Joseph and he was very reassuring and said he'd come straight over. He was very up front about the costs and told me an approximate price, even texting me on the way to update me on how far away he was. When he arrived he talked me through everything and explained the whole procedure so I knew exactly what was happening. Luckily, a simple blockage and the final price was less than the original quote. Very rare to find an honest reliable tradesman these days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joseph!read more

We needed some urgent assistance with a blocked sewege pipe and I called these guys and someone was on the doorstep within a hour. Joseph was extremely helpful and great at explaining everything he was going to do and doing in order to clear the blockage, after a lot of work (very long pipe) it was established that the blockage was tree roots growing through the pipe right down at the bottom of our property. Joseph did a great job of clearing the backlog as best he could to give us a few days relief. Joseph has just been back to dig down to the pipe, remove the offending obstruction (1.3 metres long) replace the pipe and add an access point. I can’t rate the service highly enough for the Brisbane Plumbers but more importantly Joseph himself, such a professional job and really went above and beyond to sort of problem out, leaving our property in a neater state than they found it even. Thanks for all your great work, very much appreciated.read more

I returned from holidays today to find a massive water leak (at 4pm on a Saturday) and was able to reach Joseph instantly. Joseph gave sound initial advice over the phone, and promised to come from the other side of Brisbane straight away. He was here within the hour, with a warm and professional attitude and told me to "go and relax" while he sorted things out. The job was done quickly and without issue, I was given a detailed explanation of why the leak had occurred, and how he was going to 'fix' the fault and the job came in within the price range he indicated at my initial contact. We live in a 9 apartment building in Petrie Terrace. On Melbourne Cup day, just before the big race, a major leak was discovered coming from one of the hot water tanks. Although it wasn't technically after hours, nobody was answering their phones - not the real estate agent who looks managed the affected apartment, nor the plumber we have used in the past. I phoned The Brisbane Plumbers and got straight through to Joseph. He was just finishing a job and got to our place a about 6.00 pm. Our experience was one of courtesy, reliability, efficiency and professionalism. We will be using them next time a plumber is needed and can thoroughly recommend them to anyone.read more

I just had a burst water pipe in my bathroom - 1000’s of litres of water flooding through my home at 10:30pm on a Sunday night� I rang the emergency number for The Brisbane Plumbers and Joseph was at my house within 17mins of the call. Such a lovely guy who isolated and fixed the pipe quickly. He was very professional and completely upfront about the costs. He also videoed and photographed the damaged pipe and the extent of the flooding (upstairs and downstairs) so I can send the report to my real estate. Joseph also offered to drive me to the hospital to get checked out because I got a nasty shock from a light switch during the drama. Can’t recommend the service highly enough. On a Saturday evening, house/dog sitting for someone, the last thing you want is for a total blockage of all the drains, especially seeing as though that was the night the owners were set to return!! Wow ! First a plumber who answers his phone on a Sunday. Second a plumber who is available - Joseph arrived about an hour after our call and even gave us an update of his arrival time. Third he has all the modern camera equipment and tools to do the job. Fourth he reduced his quoted price because the job was simpler than original quote. Fifth he was clean and tidy and very well aware of the hygiene required when working with sewer problems. And on top of all of that Joseph is a bloody nice bloke. Joseph is a rare jewel in the construction trade. My experience with tradesmen has been that they are expensive and do shoddy work. Joseph is an exception. He does not like quoting for Body Corporates because he charges more, but he is worth every penny. When he uncovered our storm drains he discovered the problems were far worse than what he planned but he stuck to his quote even though the work was easily twice as much. His work was vastly superior to the original, and when he left, the worksite was immaculate.read more
